Короче берешь любимую книжку, качаешь англоязычный перевод, надписываешь незнакомые слова, гуглишь незнакомую грамматику, зачитываешь до дыр, слушаешь аудио версию тоже до посинения. Так и выучишь

И те и те. Какие идут такие и читай. Тут главное количество жопочасов. Изучение любого языка это не то чтобы сложно, это пиздец как долго.
Главный секрет это заниматься каждый день и как можно больше. И заниматься практикой. То есть читать, писать, слушать, говорить. А теория - не учитывается. Под теорией подразнивается "чтение правил грамматики" или там "решение упражнений".
От теории польза есть, но очень ограниченная. Типа решать упражнения на a/an/the полезно для того, чтобы удостовериться что ты правильно понял правило, но дальше оно бессмысленно. Ты научишься круто решать упражнение, а в разговоре не будешь интуитивно вставлять то что надо.
Неиронично могу посоветовать начать потреблять контент на языке, который хочешь выучить. И под контентом я имею в виду вообще всё. Стримы, ютубчик, сериалы фильмы. Для начала можно включить русские субтитры, если такие имеются, потом английский, потом вообще без них можно. В самом начале вообще нихуя не будет понятно, но рано или поздно мозг начнет строить ассоциативные связи, а речь складываться в стройную структуру. Это вроде помещения себя в иную языковую общность, всегда рабочий способ, но не всегда доступный, такая лайтовая версия, иными словами. У меня самого таким образом ушло около года, чтобы на слух начать понимать о чем речь, может у тебя быстрее пойдет. Или нет. Надо пробовать. Единственное, что могу посоветовать, так это избегать диалектов и говоров, типа кокни и прочего, чем чище язык, тем будет легче начать его воспринимать.

К сожалению это мало поможет. Нужно ежедневно общаться с носителями или хотя бы репетитором, которые бы тебя поправляли и говорили как правильно. И тогда, может быть лет через 5-7, ты сможешь сносно говорить как подросток, например

Для навыка разговаривания на языке - да. Навыки чтения и слушания развиваются параллельно, хоть взаимосвязано с говорением.
